Visitor information
Privacy and data collection
OTARGod is a satirical community application. You do not need a conventional user account to read the public archive or use anonymous participation features.
Anonymous participation
Reactions, rituals and confessional submissions use a first-party cookie namedotar_actor. It contains a random UUID used to link participation, daily caps and abuse controls. It is not a user account, browser fingerprint or IP-based identity.
The cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, scoped to this site and set for up to one year. If you clear it, a later visit receives a new random actor identifier. Clearing the cookie does not delete participation records already stored by OTARGod.
What OTARGod stores
Depending on what you use, OTARGod can store reaction choices, ritual events, confessional text and moderation state, abuse-control attempt records, publication history, media metadata and administrative audit records.
Approved confessions are deliberately published on the public site. Pending, rejected, escalated and hidden confessions remain on the protected administrative surface.
What is public
Public pages expose aggregate ritual and reaction information, published canon and comics, and approved confession bodies. They do not intentionally expose anonymous actor UUIDs, moderator identities or moderation notes.
OTARGod does not provide participant profiles, usernames, follower graphs or direct messaging.
Service providers and external flows
OTARGod runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare also provides Turnstile anti-abuse verification and platform observability. Those services can process normal network and browser information independently of the application's anonymous actor identifier.
Human-approved social publication can send approved copy and public OTARGod links to Facebook. Operator-controlled OpenArt generation workflows can send selected prompts, model settings and approved reference URLs to OpenArt. These integrations are administrative workflows; anonymous reaction, ritual and confession records are not automatically forwarded to those providers.
Retention and deletion
OTARGod does not currently claim a short automatic retention period for most D1 participation, moderation, audit, social or generation records. Hiding or rejecting content changes its visibility; it is not the same as deleting the stored row. Removing a reaction deletes that current reaction row, but other record classes have different lifecycle requirements.
There is currently no public self-service account, data export or general deletion-request workflow. Backups, provider-held copies and caches can also outlive a live application record. Retention and recovery procedures are being formalised as part of the v1 operational hardening work, so this page describes present behaviour rather than promising deletion that the system does not yet implement.
Safety and sensitive information
Do not submit real cryptographic keying material, credentials, classified information or sensitive operational details. OTARGod is entertainment and community satire, not a secure reporting channel or authoritative COMSEC service.
