Participation rules

Community and moderation

OTARGod is fictional COMSEC satire. Its rituals, doctrine, characters and responses are entertainment. Nothing on this site is authoritative Defence, cryptographic or operational security guidance.

What belongs here

Keep participation within the fictional OTARGod setting. Reactions and rituals use curated choices. The Confessional accepts short free-text submissions for moderated fictional participation.

Do not submit real passwords, credentials, cryptographic keys or fill, classified information, sensitive operational details, or material that should be handled through an official security or incident-reporting channel.

Moderation

Confessions are not published automatically. New submissions enter a moderation queue. An authorised operator can approve, reject, hide or escalate them. Only approved bodies are shown publicly.

Moderation status, moderator identity and internal notes are not part of the public confession view.

Abuse controls

Public write actions use Cloudflare Turnstile, per-actor rate limits, daily caps and server-side validation. These controls exist to keep anonymous participation usable and to limit automated abuse.

A submission can be rejected by validation or automated secret-pattern screening before moderation. Screening is an assistive control, not a guarantee that sensitive material will always be detected.

Anonymous does not mean unrecorded

Anonymous participation uses a random first-party actor identifier rather than a public profile. OTARGod still stores the participation and operational records required to run, moderate and protect the service. Infrastructure operators can access protected stored data as part of operating the application.

Read Privacy and data collection for the current storage, third-party and retention behaviour.

Not a support or reporting channel

The Confessional is part of the satire experience. It is not a help desk, security reporting mechanism, emergency service or deletion-request channel. If information needs formal organisational handling, use the relevant organisation's approved channels instead of submitting it to OTARGod.
